Ida’s Custom Veils    had a trunk show earlier this month. 
We were privileged to be a part of this event.  Normally
I get to see one bride at a time dressed in a fine bridal gown. 
To get to see all of these great brides at one time was fun
for us.  Call Ida to see some of Kansas City’s finest gowns.

On November 1st this year I did a wedding that I was truely looking forward to. 
It was the wedding of Kendra and Emmanuel.  Her family is from Jamaica and he
is from Cameroon in Africa.  There were friends and family from 10 countries at
this celebration.  There was a pre-celebration the night before where all were in
the traditional dress of their country.  It was all about color and dance.  What a night!
The bride and groom had a traditional American ceremony, if you could call it
traditional.  Their quest for life speaks loud.  Fun - Friends - and more Fun!  The
wedding was held at Redemptorist Catholic Church and the reception was at the
Hilton President Hotel.  This was all put together by Kindra Browne and Holly
of Simple Elegance, their wedding event planners.  And did they ever have a
